Cristobal Scarpati

Cristobal was born in San Luis, Argentina in 1977. He has lived around horses all of his life. He has learned all about breaking horses and the ethical treatment of horses from his father, Oscar Scarpati Schmid. 

Cofounder of the first Indian Horse Breaking school in Argentina, he is dedicated to education, organizing and lecturing at courses of Indian Horse Breaking in Argentina, Brazil and Europe.

His love for the countryside, nature and horses make him an unconditional supporter of his father and his projects in life, such as living in peace, taming horses, and teaching others how to communicate with them. Cristobal says, “It is a pleasure doing this, living this life is a dream, with horses, in the countryside with our friends and family. It’s a lot of effort but it’s worth it. I can only be grateful and continue working on the projects that keep me going day to day.”
